For candidates
If you've been invited to complete a SIRPI-PE assessment as part of an employer's hiring process, this page explains what it is, what we collect, and what happens with your results.
The Risurix Individual Risk Profile Instrument - Pre-Employment edition (SIRPI-PE) is a questionnaire about how you typically think about and respond to workplace situations involving safety. It is not a personality test, an aptitude test, a clinical assessment, or a medical assessment. It is designed to help an employer hiring for a role with material safety risk think more carefully about behavioural patterns during selection.
The assessment takes around 15 to 25 minutes and is made up of 55 questions of three types: rating-scale items, forced-choice pairs, and brief workplace scenarios.
The assessment is scored to produce a Report describing your patterns across five behavioural dimensions.
The platform (Risurix) is operated by Risurix (Fractality Pty Ltd). The employer who invited you (the recruiting organisation) is Risurix’s customer; Risurix is the platform provider. Both organisations handle your information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
Completing the assessment is your choice. No one at Risurix can compel you to complete it.
Please be aware that the recruiting organisation may treat your declining as a withdrawal from the selection process. If you have concerns about completing the assessment, for example because of a disability, a personal circumstance, or any other reason, please contact the recruiting organisation directly to discuss alternatives or to request reasonable adjustments. Risurix has asked the recruiting organisation, under our contract, to offer reasonable adjustments consistent with sections 5(2), 6(2) and 21A of the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (Cth) and any equivalent State or Territory law.
You can stop the assessment at any time before submitting it. Your incomplete responses will be destroyed within 30 days unless you complete the assessment in the meantime.
If you have a disability, an injury, a language need, or any other circumstance that may affect how you complete the assessment, you can request a reasonable adjustment. Examples include:
Adjustments are arranged through the recruiting organisation. If the recruiting organisation needs technical support to deliver an adjustment, Risurix can assist. You can also email accessibility@risurix.com for direct support.
The assessment must be completed by you personally. Asking another person to complete it on your behalf, or allowing another person to use your invitation link, may be grounds for the recruiting organisation to take adverse action (including withdrawing an offer of employment). If your identity is in question, the recruiting organisation may require you to complete a supervised re-test.
The assessment is not designed to ask about sensitive information (such as health, race, religion, political views, or sexual orientation) and does not request it. The output is not a clinical or medical assessment and should not be relied on as one.
Your responses are scored by an automated program (the scoring engine) to produce a Report describing your patterns across the five behavioural dimensions described above. The Report is delivered to the recruiting organisation that invited you. The recruiting organisation uses it as one input among many in their hiring decision.
The scoring engine does not make the hiring decision. A trained human reviewer at the recruiting organisation interprets the Report. Under our contract with the recruiting organisation, the Report must not be used as the sole or principal basis for any adverse decision affecting you. The recruiting organisation is required to consider other evidence (interview, reference checks, technical assessment) before deciding.
If a decision adverse to you is substantially informed by the Report, you may ask the recruiting organisation to reconsider that decision through a human review. You may also contact Risurix’s Privacy Officer at privacy@risurix.com with any concern about how the scoring engine has been applied to you.
You can ask the recruiting organisation for feedback on the result, and on how the Report was used in the selection. Many recruiting organisations are willing to discuss it. Risurix does not provide candidate-facing feedback directly, because interpretation depends on the role-specific context that the recruiting organisation has and we do not.
The full retention schedule is in our Privacy policy.
